Syrup-making becomes meditation...

           I stand, motionless
watch steam rise, billow, vanish
          concentrate the sweet

    Thanks, friends! Yes, we are tapping trees and making maple syrup (I guess the "we" here is in the royal sense, as Jonathan is doing most of the work!). But I just love to watch those cooking pots...
